Using the Force to Bring a New Design to Visuex.com

We are so excited for today! As you can see the new design for Visuex.com is now live. Not only have we redesigned the website but we've also built a new custom Content Management System (CMS) that powers it. Our CMS renders pages so fast that it must be "powered by the Force", so what better day to launch the new site than Star Wars Day?

Our new website is being powered by our new in-house CMS that uses a "flat-file" infrastructure, meaning that it doesn't utilize a database which increases speed and improves security. Speed is increased because it doesn't have to connect to a database and pull in data repeatedly, instead everything is stored in simple file based system. The security is improved because Database related SQL Injections become impossible when there isn't a database to inject.

We're the type to share here at Visuex so clients that are best suited to use our CMS will be given the opportunity to do so. In fact, we've already begun developing websites utilizing our in-house CMS for clients such as RentMonster and local artist, Renee Keene. I'm very happy with the progress of our CMS and what it can do, but it's not going to be a perfect solution for everyone. We'll still be utilizing other platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and others depending on the needs of our clients. Our goal is to provide the absolute best solutions for our clients so whether that means using our CMS or using another platform, we'll only use what fits best for the project.

For the uniniated, May 4th is known as Star Wars Day because "May The Fourth Be With You" is a fun play on words with "May The Force Be With You".
